KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --  The 377th Medical Group hosted a community partner open house here, Sept. 24.

Representatives from the VA Medical Center, University of New Mexico Hospital, and Lovelace and Presbyterian hospitals visited the 377th MDG as well as the 58th Special Operations Wing.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A machine is revolutionizing the way breast surgeries are done.

“So this device is a MarginProbe,” Dr. Calvin Ridgeway, Medical Director of the Lovelace Breast Center said. “So with the use of the device, we're able to get clear margins on the first surgery about 96 percent of the time,” Dr. Ridgeway said.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - It's hard to believe, but flu season is once again rearing its ugly head.

“Typically the first cases in the State of New Mexico are in September and October, although the flu season peaks nationwide in February,” Dr. Angela Sanchez, a Family Medicine physician with Lovelace Medical Group said.

But you don't have to take it lying down this year.

Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell welcomes Jeff Hanrahan, MD, a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years’ experience, to join the Lovelace Health Care Center pediatric team.

He is dual board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology. Dr. Hanrahan received his medical degree from St. George’s University and went on to complete his residency and fellowship from the University of New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lovelace Health System has announced that its medical group and hospitals will now provide in-network services for Presbyterian Centennial Plan Medicaid members as well as those members formerly insured under UnitedHealthcare of New Mexico’s Centennial Care Medicaid plan.

The partnership is effective Sept. 1 and will affect about 303,000 members, according to information provided by Lovelace.
