Albuquerque hospitals awarded prestigious Ardent Health Services Leadership Awards

ALBUQUERQUE –March 15, 2019 – Ardent Health Services has recognized two Lovelace Health System hospitals at its recent Ardent Leadership Awards for Insight & Innovation, Best Employee Loyalty and CEO of the year. Awarded annually, the Ardent Awards recognizes its leaders, hospitals and clinics for their dedication to service excellence, performance and uncompromising commitment to excellence.

Lovelace Regional Hospital honored its employees who reached their milestone year with an Oscar-themed service awards dinner at The Hi-Q Venue on August 30. Heather Harper, Lovelace Regional Hospital CEO was the master of ceremonies, along with speakers Jon Hitchcock, hospital board chairman, and Bill Owen, hospital board member. Also in attendance were board members Amy Coll, Richard Mooney, M.D. and Robert Rader, M.D.

KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --  The 377th Medical Group hosted a community partner open house here, Sept. 24.

Representatives from the VA Medical Center, University of New Mexico Hospital, and Lovelace and Presbyterian hospitals visited the 377th MDG as well as the 58th Special Operations Wing.

Modern Healthcare’s rankings are based on interviews with leadership and physicians, and a confidential employee survey that assesses satisfaction, work-life balance, communication, policies and practices, work environment and culture.

Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell welcomes Jeff Hanrahan, MD, a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years’ experience, to join the Lovelace Health Care Center pediatric team.

He is dual board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology. Dr. Hanrahan received his medical degree from St. George’s University and went on to complete his residency and fellowship from the University of New Mexico.
