Erica McBride, DO, general surgeon with Lovelace Medical Group (LMG) repaired a recurrent inguinal hernia for the first surgical case.

ALBUQUERQUE – May 21, 2024 – Lovelace Women’s Hospital (LWH) has been gifted two waterless milk warmers, six hospital-grade breast pumps and six breast pump trolleys by Millennium Medical Group, through a grant given by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM). 

BCBSNM granted $10,000 to Millennium Medical Group, whose neonatologists oversee care of well babies and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) babies born at LWH. Millennium used that grant to purchase the much-needed supplies for the hospital.

Jim Cox, 66, started scuba diving and underwater photography about fifty years ago while in high school. He admits, however, that those first photos were appreciated only by him and his parents.

“I’ve always had a love for our oceans,” said Cox, who eventually earned a degree in ocean engineering. His graduate work centered more on engineering mechanics, which helps his current role as a mechanical engineer.

ROSWELL, May 1, 2024 — Lovelace Regional Hospital (LRH) received an “A” safety grade in the Spring 2024 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade report, a national distinction recognizing its achievements protecting patients from harm and error in the hospital. This is the seventh safety grade “A” in a row for LRH.
