Lovelace Medical Center, Heart Hospital of New Mexico Names George Wiley as Chief Financial Officer

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – May 15, 2024 – Lovelace Health System has named George Wiley, MBA, MHA, chief financial officer (CFO) of Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center, effective May 28.

Wiley comes to Lovelace with more than 16 years of healthcare finance experience. He most recently served as interim CFO for Lutheran Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he oversaw the financial administration of a health network that included a 396-bed acute care hospital, a pediatric hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, multiple specialty clinics and ambulance services. Prior to that, Wiley worked for Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, where he developed its Emergency Department Clinical Documentation Program and established multiple partnerships during his tenure. 

Wiley received a bachelor of science in accounting from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and earned a master of business as well as a master of healthcare management from the University of Phoenix. He received the Follmer Bronze award from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
