
Brian Miller

Bio
Brian Miller serves as CEO of Lovelace Medical Center and Administrator for the Heart Hospital of New Mexico. Brian brings more than 15 years of health care experience, most recently as vice president of operations at Baptist Health in Fort Smith, Arkansas. In his time with Baptist Health, Brian was responsible for the day-to-day operations, budget and patient care for two acute care facilities, with 592 licensed hospital beds, and more than 40 primary care and specialty clinics. Under his leadership, Baptist Health developed new service line strategies for oncology, women and children’s health, behavioral health and general medicine, resulting in 20% overall volume growth for the western region of Arkansas.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in operations engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Jorge Latibeaudiere

Bio
Jorge joins Lovelace from UT Health East Texas, where he served as CFO for UT Health Henderson and UT Health Carthage for the last five years. During his time there, he led several initiatives focused on enhancing the patient experience and improving care delivery. He worked closely with clinical teams to implement processes that supported better patient outcomes and reduced the need for transfers. Latibeaudiere also played a key role in coordinating daily interdisciplinary rounds, helping to streamline discharge planning and reduce overall length of stay.
Prior to his time in Texas, Jorge served as CFO at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, where he further strengthened his leadership in healthcare finance and operations.
Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Montana in Missoula.

Melissa Owens
Chief Nursing Officer

Bio
Melissa has been with the Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital (LURH) for eight years, serving as nurse manager for the past four years. She has been instrumental in nurse recruitment and retention efforts while overseeing a team of 75+ RNs, LPNs, patient care technicians and unit clerks. Having worked closely with senior leadership and the quality team, she has assisted in multiple Quality Improvement Plans and helped develop robust interdisciplinary programs. Melissa completed her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) at New Mexico Highland University and is currently pursuing her master of science in nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, New Mexico Nurses Association and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.

Harrison Brink

Bio
Harrison joined Lovelace Health System as an administrative resident in 2024, gaining experience across the entire system. He then served as assistant administrator for LMC/HHNM, where he provided operational oversight for 12 departments and led several high-impact initiatives. During his time at Lovelace, Harrison played a key role in supporting strategic partnerships and the management of multimillion-dollar capital projects across the hospital system.
Prior to joining Lovelace, Harrison held roles at Intermountain Health, UAB Medicine, Mountain West Anesthesia and HCA Healthcare, where he contributed to a range of operational, clinical and data-driven initiatives.
Harrison earned dual Master of Science degrees in Health Administration and Health Informatics with a concentration in Data Analytics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating summa cum laude. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Data Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
