Tania D. Pence, DO

Tania D. Pence, DO, is a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Pence earned her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medical and Bioscience in Missouri. She completed an Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Henry Ford BI-County Hospital, in Warren, Michigan, as well as a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.

Her services include:

• Adolescent and adult sports injuries
• Total and reverse shoulder replacement
• Total knee surgery
• Carpal tunnel, trigger finger, and basic hand fractures
• General orthopedics and fracture care

Dr. Pence has served as a team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals, the University of Cincinnati football, basketball and volleyball teams, and for various high school teams offering sideline coverage and pre-participation physicals.

Dr. Pence is a member of the New Mexico Orthopedic Society, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
