About Allyson Ray, M.D., FACS
Allyson Ray, MD, FACS is a double board-certified otolaryngologist and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Ray completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University with a degree in molecular biology and chemistry. She completed medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Ray received her medical degree with honors and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She was also an honored initiate of the John C. McDonald Undergraduate Surgical Society. She completed her internship and residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Ray completed her fellowship at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Ray spent as much time as I needed going over results and treatment options. She allowed me to choose how conservative or aggressive I wanted to go with treatment and explained all the pros and cons. She ultimately scheduled me for a day outpatient surgery that should cost between $2k-$4k when the last ENT who never saw me in person, only his assistant saw me, scheduled me for a $98,000 surgery. I cancelled that surgery. Scheduling surgery was very easy and with one call I had pre-op testing, surgery, two post op visits, medications, prep instructions and follow up care instructions all done!

I am so happy I found Dr. Ray!! She is so thorough and always educates and explains what she is doing and what she is thinking about your condition. She is very thoughtful and caring and offers good lifestyle advice that has impact on ENT conditions.

Doctor Ray has been a very good ENT doctor. She was able to find out which bacterial strain was in my sinuses and treat it with the right antibiotic. Also the surgery went well for straightening my septum. I like that she listens to you and takes notes of everything you explain to her. She is good at responding to calls as well requesting medicine refills etc.

Dr. Ray is amazing and she helped when no one else did. She is going to fix the blockage in my right nostril after having MOHS surgery due to cancer.

Dr. Ray is a fantastic surgeon. She's highly skilled, and I couldn't be happier with my results, both from a functional and a cosmetic perspective. Her office staff is also wonderful.
