Omar Hashmi, MD

Omar Hashmi, MD, is a board-certified emergency general surgeon with Lovelace Medical Group, specializing in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.

Dr. Hashmi earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his surgical residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He treats patients using robotic surgery with the Da Vinci platform, laparoscopic surgery, diagnostic endoscopy for colonoscopies and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, as well as transoral incisionless fundoplication for GERD.
