William Evan Rivers, D.O, FAAPMR

W. Evan Rivers, DO, is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from the University of South Carolina Honors College, followed by his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now known as the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab), then completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is the Chief of the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of New Mexico, where he helped establish a residency training program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is involved in multiple national societies that promote excellence in the treatment of patients with debilitating pain.
