John Thomas, PA-C, better known by his colleagues, staff members, and patients as J.T., is a 1973 graduate of Lingle Ft Laramie High School. After graduating from high school, J.T. operated his family-owned welding business from 1973 to 1986. In 1991 J.T. graduated from Eastern Wyoming College.
In 1993, he received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
J.T. served as a physician assistant for St Paul Family Medicine, PC from 1994-1996.
In 1996, J.T. moved to Roswell and joined the medical staff at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center where he provided emergency room coverage.
In January 2005, J.T. joined the staff at SCOR/Lovelace Medical Group.
Patients enjoy J.T.’s sense of humor and are quickly put at ease by his genuine and caring persona.
J.T. is board-certified in surgery and primary care as a physician's assistant.

My appointment with John Thomas achieved exactly what I was there for, diagnosis and a review of possible treatment and outcomes. No pressure to do anything, but helpful information for me to make choices. I only wish I could have the same cheerful and professional treatment from physicians in other health fields!

JT was great! He is personable and professional in his communications. My only concern was why SCOR requires masks when society in large does not wear them any longer and CDC does not mandate; possibly a Lovelace Health System policy? Irregardless, JT is recommended.
