About Michelle Underwood, PA-C, MPAS

Michelle Underwood, MPAS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with OB-GYN clinical experience in providing routine care along with major and minor gynecologic services from surgery, to pap smears to deliveries.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Eastern New Mexico University and then earned another bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of New Mexico. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies with a focus on women’s health from the University of Nebraska.

Michelle is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Mexico Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Michelle currently serves in the New Mexico Air National Guard and has more than 20 years of military experience, including the United States Air Force.
