Lovelace Regional Hospital is a 27-bed acute care hospital providing 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical services and birthing services for the residents of Roswell and surrounding communities.
The hospital, its providers and staff share a vision to improve medical care in southeast New Mexico.
Lovelace Regional Hospital earned an ‘A’ Grade from Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for Spring 2024, its seventh ‘A’ in a row, making it the only hospital in Southeast New Mexico to earn this recognition.

MissionZero is Lovelace Regional Hospital’s commitment to providing a culture of safety for patients, their loved ones, and one another. It is evident in every decision and action we take, understanding that we all contribute to creating a safe environment, whether we care for patients or support those who do. In alignment with our MissionZero journey to prevent patient harm, Lovelace Regional Hospital set a goal to achieve zero c-diff infections in 2023. Clostridium Difficile, C.Diff, is a highly contagious gastrointestinal bacteria that can lead to extended length of stay, increased pain, and other complications. To accomplish this we added c-diff discussions to our daily huddle and implemented new processes to ensure timely and appropriate collections. We are proud to say that we achieved zero c-diff infections in 2023 at Lovelace Regional Hospital. Our journey to accomplishing this goal has not only improved patient safety but also elevated the quality of care we deliver.
