This gentle yoga class focuses on nurturing you wherever you are in your cancer journey. Poses focus on opening shoulders and hips, building strength, and increasing mobility throughout the body. Instruction is offered for different skill levels and ability to modify any pose is possible to fit your individual needs. This class is about showing yourself care, decreasing stress, reconnecting with your body, and building mindfulness skills.
About the instructor: Mimi Ludden is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology and a Masters in Community Counseling. She is coauthor of "Foundations of Wellness," a textbook focusing on fostering over-all well being and she teaches a weekly Yoga for Breast Cancer Survivors Class.
