Troy Greer, Chief Executive Officer at Lovelace Westside Hospital, has been named the new CEO at Lovelace Medical Center, effective today.
David Nevill has determined that he will not return from medical leave. He has given his support to be a part of a smooth transition of leadership. We thank him for his contributions to Lovelace Health System over the last 3 ½ years and we wish him good health and much success in the future.
Troy has been the CEO at Lovelace Westside Hospital since 2007 and has guided the hospital with both vision and vigor. He has led the way through the strategic development of new and innovative services for the Westside community, including obstetrics, bariatrics, cardiology and inpatient pediatrics.
Troy has been in the health care field for 15 years. He came to Lovelace from Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, where he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) for two years. Before that, he was COO of the Women’s Hospital of Texas, a 550-bed hospital that had $186 million in annual revenue.
We will immediately begin conducting a national search for a new hospital CEO at Lovelace Westside Hospital.
