ALBUQUERQUE, NM – April 22, 2024 – Lovelace Health System has named Joseph C. Brown, MHA, chief operating officer (COO) of Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center, effective May 6.
Brown comes to Lovelace with more than 16 years of healthcare administrative experience. He most recently served as senior vice president of operations at Access Telecare in Austin, Texas, where he led national operations for acute care telemedicine subspecialty services, led the clinical integration of the nation’s two largest acute care telemedicine organizations, and grew seven service lines across the organization. Prior to that, he worked Baylor Scott & White Health for 13 years in various leadership roles.
Brown received a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Georgia, earned a master of health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
