Lovelace Cancer Care Program is partnering with Hematology Oncology Associates of New Mexico (HOA) to offer medical oncology services starting early 2015. The program will offer the latest in cancer oncology treatment for cancer patients, including medical oncology and radiation treatment.
“We are proud to partner with HOA to offer seamless cancer care to our patients,” said Troy Greer, CEO, Lovelace Medical Center. “Now patients will have a full continuum of care within the Lovelace system.”
Lovelace Health System recently invested $11 million in new radiation equipment to offer patients the latest radiation technology in New Mexico.
“HOA has been delivering compassionate, high quality care in the New Mexico for almost 40 years,” said Malcolm Purdy, M.D. “We are excited to partner with Lovelace to offer a full spectrum of oncology and hematology services for patients.”
HOA has a long tradition of providing high quality care to cancer patients. Six providers from HOA will provide services at Lovelace Cancer Care Program, including four physicians.
HOA will move from its current location at 1001 Coal Ave. to the campus at Lovelace Medical Center in early 2015. Medical oncology services through the Lovelace Cancer Care Program will be located at St. Joseph Square, off of Dr. Martin Luther King and I-25 (on campus at Lovelace Medical Center) and radiation oncology services are located at 4650 Jefferson Lane NE.
