About Varayini Pankayatselvan

Varayini Pankayatselvan, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with Lovelace Medical Group. She completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of California in Los Angeles, where she also served as chief fellow. She earned her medical degree with academic honors and research distinction from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
A proud New Mexico native, Dr. Pankayatselvan was born and raised in Las Cruces. She’s a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
