Amanda M. Youngers, RN, CNM, MSN, SANE-A, is a certified nurse-midwife and sexual assault nurse examiner specializing in trauma-informed care for adult and adolescent patients. She earned her master’s degree in nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2007. Prior to moving to New Mexico, she spent the majority of her midwifery career serving Indigenous populations in South Dakota. She is a Veteran with 14 years of active duty service in the United States Public Health Service. She loves caring for women of all ages but especially women with polycystic ovarian syndrome and adolescent and young women with reproductive health concerns and pregnancy.
