About Gwen Lacerda, MD

Gwen Lacerda, MD is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She sees patients and performs interventional spine procedures at the Lovelace UNM Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic.
Gwen attended the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and then did a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland. She attended Rutgers University-Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in South Orange, New Jersey for PM&R residency and then did a fellowship in interventional sports and spine at Coordinated Health in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. After fellowship, she worked at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where she provided interventional pain management, non-operative treatment for musculoskeletal disorders, regenerative medicine and concussion management.
