Very thorough and meaningful discussion

Dr Hoskins is an excellent care giver in every way possible. He first explained all cardiac pathophysiology and treatment modalities in multiple ways for my thorough understanding. Then he took the time and interest to listen to my recent non cardiac medical history, concerns and complaints. Beyond listening to these, he was able and willing to give me feedback on those and inform me of suggested next steps. I ( and my spouse) felt listened to and cared for way beyond his responsibility as a specialist. Once we found our cardiac concern was resolved we expected to be dismissed. Instead, we had our most attentive, informative and empathetic medical visit in memory. Having been a patient of his in the past, we were not surprised by this since in past encounters we found him to be skilled in listening, digesting pt histories and processing that information such that he is able to give immediate feedback. Even though our ” problem ” turned out to NOT be cardiac, he treated us holistically as the best primary practitioner one could hope for.

Dr. Hopskins explanation of the problem and his treatment proposal and care plan were explained with drawings he made and discussion and answers to my question. He was particularly interested in my questions and any worries or fears I might have. Advised me to call office to staff if I had more things to discuss or question. He was so relaxed and interested, I left wanting the procedure and had no fear! I slept better for that time spent with his explanation. He is awesome. I have so much confidence in his knowledge and understanding of my issues.

Dr. Hoskins clearly read my AFib history. I felt heard in our meeting and he presented the pros and cons of an ablation and alternatives. Would hesitate to recommend Dr Hoskins as well as the professionals who work in this practice.
