About Lakshmi Parvathaneni, MD
Lakshmi Parvathaneni, MD is a board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist at New Mexico Heart Institute.
Dr. Parvathaneni completed both her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago-Christ Medical Center. She received her Cardiology Fellowship from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Dr. Parvathaneni is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Parvathaneni is also member of the Women in Cardiology Section – American College of Cardiology. She has a special interest in women’s heart health and preventive cardiology.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching the sunset.
