About Amy Macleod, CNM
Amy Macleod, CNM is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over 20 years of focused Labor & Delivery nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, with a concentration in Nurse Midwifery. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Amy has been a part of Lovelace Women’s Hospital since 2006 where she has been a Staff Nurse supporting normal and high risk births, and promoting health, safety, and education by delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Amy is one of the best OB/Midwife and amazing at her job. She answered any questions I had, addressed any concerns, and was very informative and knowledgeable. She was also very kind at every appointment and made me feel one hundred percent comfortable during my pregnancy!

I will never recommend this provider, she does not listen to you or hear your concerns she sits in the room for 4 minutes tells you what to do and leaves.

She listened to everything I had to say. She did not pressure her own decisions onto mine, which I greatly appreciate it. She gave me couple of options and allow me to choose what would be best for me.
