Ximena Galarza-Rios, M.D. is a patient-focused board-certified family practice physician with over 20 years’ experience. Dr. Galarza-Rios earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed medical school at the University of New Mexico. She attended University of Florida Community Health & Family Medicine for her family practice residency. Dr. Galarza-Rios is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American Medical Association and the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association. She is bilingual (Spanish & English) and looks forward to continuing to provide high quality care to New Mexicans.

She's compassionate, caring, an excellent communicators and timely with any messages you send her. Wonderful doctor! She is kind and genuinely cares for her patients. After my pregnancy I had some issues and after seeing about 5 different “specialists” she got down to the root cause of my issue. I couldn’t be more thankful. Everyone needs a doctor like her.

DR Rios is absolutely amazing I only wish i had found her a long time ago. Dr Rios is thorough, personable , listens and communicates well allows you time to talk. I do not feel rushed through by Dr Rios she is an absolute pleasure . I only hope she stays with Lovelace for a long time.
