Julie A. Muché, M.D. is a board certified physiatrist that specializes in Pain Management and Rehabilitation. Dr. Muché, is the Medical Director of the Pain Clinic at Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital and an assistant professor at University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Muché received her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Bioethics from the University of Southern California followed by her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She is a certified Physician Executive (CPE) through the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Muché, is also a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Doctor Muche is Very Smart and Caring Doctor. Helping people with Life Chronic conditions. Dr Muche is the best pain doctor I've ever had. She allows me to have a say in my treatment. It's not just about pills or injections with Dr. Muche. We use at home PT & OT, massage therapy, TENS unit etc. Recently I had my gallbladder removed and wound up in the ICU 3 weeks later. Dr. Muche has safely & effectively helped me up my doses for post surgery and is currently helping me safely taper back down. She gives me random drug tests to make sure I don't start down a scary spiral. Dr. Muche remembers everything! She sends me to specialists other doctors have neglected based on my ER procedure and Laboratory test results. I love being cared for by Dr. Julie Muche. Thank you!

Fantastic provider. One of the few who responds to portal messages and treats “the whole patient “ with appropriate referrals when needed.
