Lovelace Health System welcomes James Washecka as Division CFO
ALBUQUERQUE – January 29, 2016 – Lovelace Health System is pleased to announce that James Washecka, FHFMA, MBA, has been named as division chief financial officer, starting March 1.
James brings more than 23 years of financial management experience to Lovelace. For the past five years, James has served as the CFO of Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both Hillcrest South and Lovelace Health System are affiliates of Ardent Health Services. James was named Ardent’s CFO of the Year in 2012. James’ experience includes numerous CFO and controller positions at investor-owned hospitals across the country. He began his career in law enforcement, serving as a patrol officer and a state field trainer and instructor.
James earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University in Miami and a MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He received the designation of Fellow from the Healthcare Financial Management Association and served as a member of the Council on Strategic Planning and Finance for the Oklahoma Hospital Association.
