I really liked my provider. She listened and she seemed concerned and she addressed my issues and she didn't shame me which is very important.

Shavonne Truong, APRN was helpful with my health issues and I was appreciative. 

Ms Truong is not professional, caring nor even polite. She talked over me and my daughter repeatedly, and asked a 97 year old woman which medicine she wanted. 

I felt Dr Truong was very good and instilled comfort & a sense of patience.

Felt dismissed and not heard. Left in tears. 

Shavonne is an asset to Lovelace. She is an all around professional!!! Her patients benefit greatly from her expertise, her listening ability, and her desire to help us move closer to great health.

She listens to everything and actually cares. Doesn't seem like she is in a hurry to leave and works with you through all concerns.

While they were kind and patient, they spoke quickly and the appointment didn't last very long at all. I felt confused.

A concern over a previous problem not answered

She is very efficient.

She wrote a prescription that was unable to be filled. I sent her a message in MyChart that she never responded to. To pharmacy tried to contact her and she never responded. Very poor care. Won't see her again.

She seemed very rushed and I felt I was inconveniencing her trying to explain my concerns. Needs a little work on her bedside manners'.

I asked her several times if she could slow down and explain all of the medications that she is trying to prescribe to me. She seemed extremely irritated, never slowed down and continued to talk over all of my concerns when I was trying to speak. 

The NP was very well-skilled at her job. However, seemed to lack familiarity with my health history. Could be because this was her first time seeing me. Perhaps more time reading my charts before the appointment would have been helpful.
