Dawn has been with Lovelace ten years and has more than 33 years of nursing experience with 17 years of progressive managerial experience. She has been instrumental in improving efficiencies in the ICU, Birthing Center and improving patient satisfaction scores. She has led efforts to expand services and technology at the hospital, including expanding beds in the Emergency Department.
Prior to joining Lovelace Women’s Hospital executive leadership team, Dawn served as the Chief Executive Office, Chief Nursing and Chief Operating Officer at the Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell..
Dawn earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and has a bachelor’s of nursing degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dawn is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was also a Women of Influence nominee in 2013 from Albuquerque Business First. She has also served as the Region IV Director of the New Mexico Organization of Nurse Executives.
