ALBUQUERQUE – May 26, 2021 – Lovelace Health System has named Jeff Kinney, MBA, as the chief operating officer (COO) of Lovelace Women’s Hospital, effective June 28, 2021.

ALBUQUERQUE – May 25, 2021 – Lovelace Health System has named Derrick Jones, MBA, MSHA, as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Lovelace Westside Hospital, effective July 1, 2021.

ALBUQUERQUE – May 20, 2021 – Richard Haun has been named division chief financial officer (CFO) of Lovelace Health System. He has been serving as interim division CFO since December of 2020.

Richard has been the division CFO for the Ardent Health Services Americas Division for six years and will continue to serve in that role in addition to division CFO for Lovelace Health System.

ALBUQUERQUE, April 29, 2021 — Lovelace Medical Center (LMC), Lovelace Women’s Hospital (LWH) and Lovelace Regional Hospital (LRH) received an “A” safety grade in the spring 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade report, a national distinction recognizing their achievements protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections. This is the second safety grade “A” in a row for both LMC and LWH.

ALBUQUERQUE – February 8, 2021 – Lovelace Women’s Hospital is now performing single-dose radiation therapy for breast cancer that demonstrates the same efficacy as traditional 6-week radiotherapy and is significantly more convenient and less stressful for patients. Calvin Ridgeway, MD, a surgical oncologist, now performs the procedure at Lovelace Women’s Hospital, the only hospital in New Mexico offering this Targeted Intraoperative Radiotherapy (TARGIT-IORT) using the Intrabeam® System from ZEISS.

ALBUQUERQUE – January 5, 2021 – Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center (HHNM) is now enrolling patients in the iCLAS™ U.S. IDE Clinical Trial Evaluating Ultra-Low Temperature Cryoablation for Persistent Atrial Fibrillation. The iCLAS catheter device cuts hours off an ablation procedure, leading to a better outcome and faster recovery time for the patient. HHNM is the only site in New Mexico offering this advanced procedure, performed by New Mexico Heart Institute/Lovelace Medical Group electrophysiologists.
